An MLA committee conducted an in-depth analysis of the NLM's PubMed Core Clinical Journal list, which was last updated more than 50 years ago.
The renamed Clinically Useful Journals list includes 241 titles covering 80 subjects. Listed on this page is the 11 BMJ Group journals on the list, identified as being "of immediate interest to healthcare."
The MLA committee took an evidence-based approach, analyzing journal usage at 800+ US and Canadian hospitals and medical facilities. They used patient-driven indicators to designate subjects and then usage to select the journals.
